FSDN

FSDN is een ontwikkelingsprogramma dat wij zullen vrijgeven aan ontwikkelaars/programmeurs die externe programma's willen maken om de spelers van Footstars te helpen met het managen van hun spelers en teams.

De API zal bestaan uit een aantal XML feeds om toegang te verkrijgen tot de data van Footstar. Alle bestaande (externe) applicaties zullen vanaf nu af aan via deze API moeten lopen (dit natuurlijk zo snel als mogelijk). Wij zullen snel beginnen met het vergrendelen van aplicaties die continu pagina's scannen om data te verkrijgen.

Als je geïnteresseerd bent in het ontwikkelen van deze programma's (of als je er al een hebt!), stuur ons dan een email (global@footstar.org) waarin je verzoekt om opgenomen te worden in het programma, stuur ook voor de volledigheid even het gebruikersid mee. Wij zullen jullie dan van de nodige informatie voorzien die je nodig hebt om te kunnen werken met de door jullie gemaakte programma's.

In de tussentijd zal er een nieuw wachtwoord worden gemaakt zodat jullie, normale spelers, toegang hebben tot deze programma's (als je dit wilt). Dit zal ook wel het FSDN wachtwoord genoemd worden. Dit wachtwoord zal in het begin precies hetzelfde zijn als je huidige wachtwoord, dit is later aan te passen als je daar behoefte aan hebt. Wij raden je wel aan om het aan te passen, en dus niet maar 1 wachtwoord te gebruiken. Dit wachtwoord hoeft alleen gebruikt te worden zodat je toegang kan krijgen tot de externe programma's. Daarnaast moet je ook gebruik maken van je normale gebruikersnaam. Om het FSDN wachtwoord te veranderen, ga naar Gebruiker --> Instellingen.

Waarschuwing: Gebruik dit wachtwoord niet tenzij het externe programma dit logo heeft: http://www.footstar.org/img/fsdn_certified.jpg. Als je dit logo niet kan vinden op een bepaalde site of programma dan kan je het beste direct contact met ons opnemen en zorgen dat je geen inloggegevens in het programma gebruikt.

Op dit moment zijn er nog geen FSDN goedgekeurde applicatie/programma (dit komt natuurlijk omdat het ontwikkelingsprogramma pas vandaag vrijgegeven is!). Maar als je op de hoogte wilt blijven neem dan geregeld een kijkje op Gemeenschap --> FSDN. Wij hopen dat hier zo snel mogelijk veel programma's te vinden zullen zijn.

FSDN is a development program we're releasing to assist and aggregate all developers/programmers who pretend to create external tools to support Footstar users to manage their players & teams.

The API will consist of several XML feeds in order to access Footstar's data. All existent externals applications should, from now on, adopt this new API as soon as possible. We'll soon start to lock all applications that continue to scan pages directly in order to grab data.

If you are interested in developing these kind of tools (or if you have already developed one!), please email us at global@footstar.org requesting you application to the program (along with your user ID). We'll then give you all the necessary details you need to start working on your programs.

In the meanwhile, a new password has been created so that you guys, normal users, can access to these tools (if required). It's called the FSDN password. They'll all be created initially equal to your normal password but you can later change it if you want. We strongly advise you to avoid using equal passwords! This password should only be used so that you can access to these external tools. You must user your regular username as well.
To change your FSDN password go to User >> Preferences.

Another important warning: do not use these FSDN login details in any application that does not contains this logo: http://www.footstar.org/img/fsdn_certified.jpg
If you aren't able to see this logo in a Footstar related website/tool the best thing to do is to contact us immediately and avoid inserting any of your login details in the software.

At this time there isn't yet any FSDN approved application (naturally, the development program was only release today!). But stay tuned at Community >> FSDN: we really hope to have some applications ready to be inserted on this page very soon.
